I have served for the last five years supporting family members whose loved ones enter into inpatient care for substance dependence and high acuity mental health issues. I recognize the traumatic impact of crisis on the family system. I am passionate about family work and utilize Bowen Family Systems Theory in my outpatient work. Although there may be times when distance is necessary, my style of work embraces finding ways to stay in and improve relationships versus cutting them off.
